A Night time Prayer- Release from Emotional Containment

A Night time Prayer- Release, rest, and emotional containment

God, the day is done, and I am tired of holding this ache alone.

I give You the questions that had no answers today.

I give You the moments where the silence felt heavy.

If I said too much in my thoughts, quiet them.

If I said too little in my prayers, hear my heart anyway.

I release the urge to fix, explain, or relive what hurts.

I release the images, memories, and imagined conversations

that keep my body awake even when my soul wants rest.

Hold my daughters tonight where I cannot.

Cover them with peace, clarity, and protection.

If they feel unsettled, calm them.

If they feel guarded, soften them.

Let sleep restore what worry drained.

Let rest rebuild what grief thinned.

Tomorrow can wait. Healing does not rush.

I place this pain down now.

I place this love into Your hands.

I allow myself to rest without guilt.

Amen
