Preparing the Heart: Intuition as Our Inner Compass
Over the past few years, I’ve felt a persistent, intuitive knowing—an unshakable sense that change is not only coming, but is already here. It’s not fear-based. It’s not doom and gloom. It’s a deep, steady awareness that something bigger than us is shifting. The weather, the fires, the way nature seems unsettled, the tension in politics and society—they all echo a message I’ve been hearing quietly for some time: Prepare, ground, and realign.
Many others are sensing it too. There’s a collective hum in the spiritual and emotional atmosphere—like a subtle call to come back to the core of who we really are. And at the center of that call is one thing: intuition.
Recognizing the Voice of Intuition
Intuition doesn’t always show up in lightning bolts. Sometimes it’s a quiet whisper, a persistent feeling, or a deep inner unrest that won’t go away. For me, the signs have been clear and personal. I’ve felt an overwhelming urgency—not to panic, but to get my emotional and spiritual house in order. I’ve made peace with parts of my past that once haunted me, because I feel, without a doubt, that what’s coming next requires a clean heart and steady spirit.
One of the most profound shifts has been in how I’ve processed the pain surrounding my marriage and family. Where there was once emotional unrest, now there’s peace. True peace. The kind that doesn’t erase the past but acknowledges it, forgives it, and gently puts it down.
Knowing true love is something that I did not understand. Until recently, I found myself conflicted with unconditional love; not knowing what , with certainty, its definition. Without a doubt I loved the father of my daughters more than anyone I had ever and possibly will ever. I know this because after all that has taken place, I have nothing to say poorly of him; and I want no harm to come to him. I pray that he is blessed with every thing he asks for in prayer and that he is protected. I feel the same way for my daughters whom I love more than life itself.
If anything were to ever happen in this uncertain world, I would want them to know that love was always the center of everything. I have no anger, bitterness, no resentment. Just love. And love doesn’t cling. It wants what’s best, even if that means stepping back. I know he may have misunderstood my intentions, but my attempts have never come from manipulation. They’ve come from a place that only God himself has placed within me—a place of sincere peace and desire for healing, for everyone.
The Weight of Disconnection
And yet, as more time passes between me and my girls, the urgency grows. There’s a sacred ache in that space. I’ve stood by peace and forgiveness, but I’ve also had to face silence. At some point, I realized I had said enough. And now, I’m learning the power of quiet. Because when we get quiet, we begin to hear more—not just from others, but from God, from the Earth, and from the deep wells of our own spirit.
How to Tune Into Intuition
Your intuition is a sacred tool in uncertain times. Here’s how you can strengthen it:
Create silence: Turn down the volume of the world and tune into yourself.
Reflect daily: Journaling, prayer, stillness—anything that allows your inner voice to speak freely.
Watch your body: Gut feelings, tension, or calmness are often your soul’s way of signaling truth or misalignment.
Trust the first answer: Your intuition often speaks first. Your logic tries to override it later.
Follow the little signs: Intuition builds with use. The more you trust it, the clearer it becomes.
Teaching Intuition Through Living It
We teach others best not by instruction, but by embodiment. Let your life be the message. Let your peace speak louder than your pain. Ask others what they feel, not just what they think. Encourage children to trust their instincts and help normalize intuitive intelligence in everyday life.
Peace as a Foundation
I believe the season we’re in is calling for deep spiritual and emotional grounding. Not fear. Not chaos. Peace. That’s the preparation. Whether you believe in a coming shift, a rebirth, or even a spiritual apocalypse—it doesn’t really matter. What matters is who we become in the process.
This is a time for radical love, even for those who misunderstand us. A time for forgiveness, not because others always deserve it, but because we deserve to be free. A time for gratitude, because every breath is still a gift.
There is no room for fear when your foundation is love. And no room for regret when you’ve made peace with your past. So if you feel the shift too—if your intuition is whispering louder each day—know this: You’re not alone. You’re being called to prepare, not just for what’s coming, but for the person you’re becoming.
