Today was a Big Day 🏥

Dear Girls,

Today was a big day for me— one of those milestones you dream about, work toward, and then suddenly find yourself standing in.

I officially started in Emergency… as an Emergency Nurse.

I was proud. Really proud.

And the very first thing I wanted to do was tell you.

I stood at the desk outside the trauma bay, trying to focus on the moment, but my eyes stung thinking of you—of how much I miss sharing my life with you, the ordinary days and the big ones.

You were the ones I wanted beside me for this. Not to celebrate me… just to share it. Because that’s what we’ve always done.

Even when we’re apart, you’re woven into every step I take.

I hope one day you’ll look back and see all the things I kept building—not instead of you, but because of you.

Always,

Mom
